Additional Comments, Research and Points on Enjoy Life Forever! (lff) Section 2 Lesson 14
This lesson will entail us that worship is only accepted when it can please the one we worship, Jehovah.
- Point 1 discussed that our worship should be based on the Bible only. Yes, all religions have Bible but they do not teach what is written on it. They disregard the truth. Mark 7:9 emphasized that some tend to subtly disregard Jehovah's law and cling to traditions.
- Point 2 teaches us that Jehovah deserves exclusive devotion. Isaiah 42:8 requires no sharing! Like married people, they need to show loyalty. Not only that, our worship must follow His standards, not ours.
- Point 3 encourages us to worship Jehovah together with his people. Since April 1, 2022, Kingdom Halls around the globe were all open for meetings. Why not support this arrangement? We have tried the comfort in our houses, for now, let us support the Governing Body by going and being present in flesh at the meetings. If we do so, we can share and hear songs of praise in person.
- At point 4, the video clearly explained why Jehovah hates the use of idols and images. Scriptures support this teaching. Our worship of God should be free of any forms of idolatry. In the video, the Israelites made a golden calf. Do you know why? This shows that they are still affected by Egyptian beliefs. Interfaith has no room in our worship of Jehovah!
- Point 5 shows the benefits of true worship. We will be freed from superstitions and false gods.
- Point 6 teaches us that active participation in our meetings is another way of worshipping God. To be able to give comments, we must prepare before.
- As a result of doing all these, in point 7, Jehovah is pleased. Let us share these Bible truths and free as many people as we can!
In some people's say section, the answer is no. We can please God by following His principles. In Romans 12:1 our worship can be acceptable to Him.
Thank you for all the nice blog posts regarding the new book :) I also liked the program you made of broadcasting themes, something i have been thinking we need for a while. Keep up the good work! :-D
