2019 Annual Meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses

A few more months and the 2019 Annual Meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses will take place. For the sake of those who are new to this, it is also called as AM or AGM (Annual General Meeting). You might also ask: Why discuss it this early? The answer is simple, most of us are excited about it!

2019 Annual Meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses Date and Location

The 2019 JW Annual Meeting might be held once again on our World Headquarters (WHQ) in Warwick, New York. But of course, it's up to them if they'll pick another location such as the Stanley Theather in New Jersey or even in another branch. (I heard some reports that the new Britain branch might be used as a location in the future Annual Meeting.) But for now, there's a big chance that the location will be at Warwick Bethel.






If we consider that they always do it on the first Saturday of October, then this year, it will be on October 5, 2019. Again, Assembly Halls and Kingdom Halls in the U.S. Branch territory capable of video streaming might be invited to attend either the live broadcast or a rebroadcast of the program on Sunday, October 6. Remember, these are wild speculations and still needs confirmation. 😊

Because everyone is very excited about the 2019 Annual Meeting, part of our "tradition" here at RMO Video is to speculate the things that will be discussed or released during the program. Below are some of our wild guesses and speculations:

• Announcement of the 2020 Yeartext. 😲 (This is not a guess because it is a common practice for them to announce it during AM.)
• There will be updates, experiences, and encouragement for our brothers in Russia, as well as for Venezuela.
• They will show us the developments in some of our major construction projects.
• Major organizational changes and improvements.
• The announcement that the printing of Awake! magazines will stop. 🤪
• Reducing of Regular Pioneers' hours from 70 to 50 hours per month. (Yipee!) Also, Auxiliary Pioneers' hours from 50 to 30 hours per month. 🤗
• New or upcoming features for the JW Library, JW Sign Language, JW Language, and JW Event Apps.
• Releasing of a revised "Revelation" book and some new tracts for preaching.
>New lights and understanding regarding some Bible's prophecies.
• Reducing of Gilead School classes from 2 to 1 per year.
• They will announce the date and location for the 2020 Annual Meeting. (Do you think it will be on the new Britain branch?)
