JW Broadcasting - February 2019 Updates

Good day brothers and sisters! Welcome again to an update regarding our monthly broadcast on JW Broadcasting. Well this time, it's for the February 2019.

JW Broadcasting - February 2019

You may remember that we did not get a regular program for two consecutive months. December 2018 and January 2019 was 145th Gilead Graduation and Annual Meeting 2018, respectively. However, we saw encouraging talks, experiences and beautiful videos during those events. We just missed those encouraging original songs...

OK, just like our past posts, we will highlight things that happened (and released on JW.org) for the past month. Here are those:
  • Ten of our brothers' homes were destroyed during a devastating fire in Manaus City, Brazil. It's good to hear that there are no fatalities and our branch is caring for the needs of our brothers and sisters.
  • Our deaf brothers and sisters in Rwanda will now enjoy watching sign language videos in their own Rwandan Sign Language. The branch in Rwanda established a translation office that will translate spoken language to local sign language. These videos will also help publishers in preaching the good news to over 30,000 deaf and hard-of-hearing people in Rwanda.
  • We also got some updates on how a tropical depression named Usman wreck havoc on eastern part of the Philippines. No brothers and sisters were killed by it but 3 of our brothers' home and a Kingdom Hall was damaged. The branch provided temporary housing to our affected brothers.
  • In South Korea, the court fully acquits conscientious objectors for the first time in their history. This "not-guilty" verdicts will set as a pattern to have the same positive verdict to over 900 brothers who are still in prison due to their faith.
  • Our brothers and sisters in the Philippines were also very happy recently after receiving their revised version of the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures! The new Bible is now available in Pangasinan, Hiligaynon, Cebuano, Iloko, Waray-Waray and Tagalog.
Now back to the topic. What do you expect for the JW Broadcasting - February 2019? Who do you think will host the program? Is it a Governing Body member or a helper to them? What experiences will be featured? What will the music video (original song) be about? If there's one, we will post the song lyrics as soon as possible. How about the postcard (greetings), which congregation/country will we see? Let's see when it became available. 🤣
