JW Broadcasting - January 2019

Good day brothers and sisters! Welcome to our update regarding the 52th episode of JW Broadcasting. Can you imagine that? We will have 52 broadcasts of JW Broadcasting on January 2019. It means if you watch a program per week, it will take one year to complete them!

JW Broadcasting - January 2019 Updates

Before proceeding to update, let's talk about some things that happened in the past days:
  • For example, some of us may have attended one of our circuit assemblies for 2018-2019 (Be Bold! and Be Strong!); or maybe, some of you have attended both already. Did you enjoy the music prelude? On our assembly, we were surprised to hear these new music presentations. Friends are quietly sitting, feeling and enjoying the music. We all hope that they will make the music available for download in the near future.
  • Another thing, a new video featuring Caleb (Become Jehovah's Friend) entitled "Be Good in the Ministry" was released on JW.org. It teaches us 3 things. We need to prepare, choose the right clothing and act in a modest way whenever we are in the ministry.
  • Another video, entitled "Does God Accept All Forms of Worship?" was made available for all. The 4-minute video will answer questions like why are there so many conflicting beliefs, and how can we tell if our worship is acceptable to God?
  • There is also a news item about the sale of our last Brooklyn property - One York Street. A total of 37 Brooklyn proerties were sold since 2004. Since 2016, our new world headquarters is in Warwick, New York. [Read the full article.]
  • A dedicated page inside JW.org was also setup to help everyone in the downloading, installation and updating of Watchtower Library - a Bible research tool.
  • And many others. Be sure to visit JW.org and hit the blue See What's New link to see all recent updates.





Now, what can we expect from the JW Broadcasting - January 2019? Who do think will be the host? What encouraging experiences will we see? What countries will be featured? Do you think we will get a new song-music video?

Well, for this month, we may not see experiences and music video. The title might be "JW Broadcasting—January 2019: Annual Meeting 2018". Yes brothers and sisters, it will be the Annual Meeting 2018. Last time, it was announced that these spiritual events will be part of the JW Broadcasting. (January 2018's broadcast featured the Annual Meeting 2017.)

JW Broadcasting - December 2018 Updates

Good day brothers and sisters. Welcome again to another JW Broadcasting update. This time, it is for the December 2018 edition. But before that, let's have a recap of the things that was released this month.
  1. Northern Mariana Islands was destructed by Super Typhoon Yutu on October 24, 2018. Thanks Jehovah, no brothers or sisters were killed or injured. However, the homes of 15 Witnesses were completely destroyed and another 40 homes were damaged. [Read full story.]
  2. Another story is about how our brothers brought relief to flood victims in Japan. Some 4,900 volunteer relief workers helped in the relief operations. [Read full story.]
  3. Another typhoon battered the Philippines. It was Typhoon Yutu (metioned earlier). 73 homes of our brothers were damaged as well as 6 Kingdom Halls. [Read full story.]
  4. Tropical Storm Vicente and Hurricane Willa hit Mexico which resulted to severe flooding and mudslides in southern Mexico that killed 11 people. Local brothers and sisters have already cleaned the flooded homes and Kingdom Hall and made necessary repairs. [Read full story.]
  5. Three major wildfires in California, United States, have caused catastrophic damage and at least 48 deaths of which 3 are witnesses. [Read full story.]
  6. Cyclone Gaja devastated the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. 46 individuals were killed, an estimated 250,000 were displaced, and over 85,000 homes were damaged or destroyed. None of our brothers and sisters were injured or killed by the storm. [Read full story.]
  7. Mass arrest and detentions continues in Russia. For example, for the month of October 2018, local and federal police raided more than 30 homes throughout western Russia. There are now 25 brothers and sisters unjustly imprisoned, and 18 others are under house arrest. [Read full story.]
  8. However, despite these sad events, we are happy to hear all conscientious objectors in South Korea who have served at least one third of their 18-month prison sentence will be released on parole. Therefore, 57 of the 64 brothers currently imprisoned should be released. We expect the remaining seven brothers to be released once they have served six months of their sentence.
Now back to the update. JW Broadcasting December 2018 program will be released soon. However, we will not have a regular JW Broadcasting program for this month. Instead, the 145th Gilead Graduation will be shown. (Remember December 2017? Check it out!) Also, there will be no music video.

The song "True Friends" is the latest addition to our growing list of original songs for the month of November 2018. While this song is primarily for our young brothers and sisters, even us adults can benefit from its message too. It tells the importance of having good and true friends. Good day brothers and sisters all around the earth! Sorry for the late post regarding the November 2018 program of JW Broadcasting. But still, it's better late than nothing.

As you know, a few more hours and the broadcast will become available for all of us. Many of us are now speculating of what will be presented, what experiences will be related, what countries will be featured, what will be the talk theme or what the music video (song) will be about. We are all very excited. Of course, all of our questions will be answered when the video becomes available online. Below are some images that will give a glimpse of what will be discussed.

While we are waiting for the program, here are some updates that you might miss:
  • Examining the Scriptures Daily—2019 is now available for download.
  • Last month, a form entitled Instructions for Our Christian Life and Ministry Meeting was made available for download.
  • New book and brochure entitled Pure Worship of Jehovah​—Restored at Last! and Apply Yourself to Reading and Teaching was released.
  • Two news regarding Ukraine and Russia was released. The first one is about our brothers in Donetsk and the second one is about how our brothers in Russia were framed as possessing dangerous “Weapons” for “Extremist” activity.
  • The last one is a breaking news from South Korea. The reports says "On Thursday, November 1, 2018, South Korea's Supreme Court decided in a 9-4 decision that conscientious objection does not constitute a crime. Religious conscience is now considered “justifiable grounds” for refraining from military enlistment. This landmark decision by South Korea’s highest court lays the groundwork for issuing not guilty verdicts for the over 900 brothers with cases pending in all levels of Korea's court system. Earlier in the year, the Constitutional Court of Korea ruled that there must be a provision for conscientious objectors to have alternative service options by December 2019."

2018 JW Annual Meeting Announcements (New Light, Updates and New Provisions)

For all of those looking for anything related to the 2019 JW Annual Meeting, we already posted an article here on RMO Video. It contains speculation on updates and releases.

Below is a highlight of what is discussed. It contains new light, improvement of meetings, new publications and some organizational updates.
  • The yeartext for 2019 will be taken from Isaiah 41:10. It states, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.’" It is not yet revealed which portion of this scripture will be used. Do you think it will be "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God."?
  • "Russia and its allies" is the "king of the north" (Daniel 11:40)
  • All missionaries that have been in the field for more than 5 years will have the privilege to attend the School for Kingdom Evangelizers or SKE.






New Publications

Also, a brochure entitled Apply Yourself to Reading and Teaching was released. It contains concise instruction on 20 essential study points for effective reading and teaching. There will be 20 videos to accompany each study points that will help us learn how we can apply this new informations. This new brochure will replace the book Benefit From Theocratic Ministry School Education. It will be used starting January 2019. One study point and video will be discussed during the first midweek meeting of each month until the entire brochure has been considered. Since this is a brochure, it will consist of 24 pages. It is also available in 350 spoken languages and sign languages. It will be available on jw.org, JW Library, JW Library Sign Language, and Watchtower ONLINE LIBRARY.



Another publication was also announced during the Annual Meeting. This time, it's a book that examines the prophecies of the Bible book of Ezekiel. It is entitled Pure Worship of Jehovah—Restored At Last! There will be videos to introduce each chapter of the book. Since this is a book, it will consist of 240 pages. This book will be available first in English while other languages will follow. You can download it on jw.org, JW Library, and Watchtower ONLINE LIBRARY when it became available very soon.

Actually, October is an exciting month for us. We now have regular pioneers who finished their respective Pioneer Service School. Also, Some of us have started attending our "Be Bold!" or "Be Strong" Circuit Assemblies. What else?

Did you know that the 2018 Annual Meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses is always held on October? It will be coming in a few days from now. That means, we will be hearing new updates about the organization or perhaps new light on our teachings. Welcome brothers and sisters on our JW Broadcasting - September 2018 updates. For sure all of us are very excited on the new program. Few days more and it will be available for all of us.

But before that, we would like to remind you that next month will be a new service year (2018-2019). This is also the season when our Circuit Assemblies with Circuit Overseer or Branch Representative are scheduled. Lastly, some of you and your friends might be going to the Pioneer Service School too in the coming weeks. You might want to give them gifts on their graduation.

2019 International / Regional Convention Theme, Badge and Invitation

Hello brothers and sisters from all around the earth! We, the brothers and sisters behind RMO Video are hoping that you had a great and fruitful weekend. Now here comes the special part; we will be talking about the upcoming 2019 Regional Convention! As you can remember, our last convention was about "courage". Are you wondering what will be the theme for 2019 International and Regional Convention? It is "Love Never Fails"!. Again, next year would be "Love Never Fails"! 2019 Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The 2019 International and Regional Convention will be 3-day event, as usual. It will highlight talks and interviews, multimedia (videos, images and animations), a public Bible discourse and hopefully a feature film related to the convention theme. Everyone is invited to the convention. If you want to attend this upcoming event, you can now look for the nearest location from you.

2019 International Conventions of Jehovah's Witnesses (Dates and Locations)

Welcome to the 2019 International Conventions of Jehovah's Witnesses update! It was announced recently that next year International Conventions will be held on different countries around the earth. Actually, 24 international conventions will be held in 18 countries during 2019! These events are like "annual festivals and other gatherings for worship" that "strengthen God’s servants spiritually", according to the official website.
