Additional Comments, Research and Points on Enjoy Life Forever! (lff) Section 1 Lesson 7
In this lesson, we will be closer to our God Jehovah. Through this, we will understand better His outstanding qualities.
Point 1 explained why we are unable to see Him. He does not have a physical body like us. He lives in heaven and He is a Spirit. This gives another reason not to use any image in worshipping God.
Point 2 discussed some aspects of Jehovah's personality. Proverbs 27:11 emphasized that what we do can affect His emotion. This proves that He is not a heartless God.
Point 3 highlights how Jehovah God loves us. Acts 14:17 shows His impartial love. Giving His only Son for us is another proof of love.
Point 4 reveals that Holy Spirit is not a person but a force God uses to get things done. The argument in Luke 11: 13 and Acts 2:17 point out this important Bible truth. It was being asked and given and being poured. So if it is a person, how can it be poured out? If in a case in a certain place 10 persons "asked" for it at the same time, who will be given first? It is logical to accept that it is a force, not a person.
Psalms 33:6 and 2 Peter 1:20,21 discussed some ways Jehovah used his power. In creating everything and guiding those who wrote the Bible.
Point 5 reminds us of other beautiful facets of Jehovah's personality. Study note of Exodus 34: 4-6 shows that Jehovah is respectful to us. He is the Almighty God yet He respects Moses by saying please. What a fine example to us!
The Bible reading and audio drama in point 6 show that Jehovah cares. He knows our sufferings and He is able and willing to help us cope with them.
Point 7 video and Romans 1:20 notes the wonders of Jehovah's creation.
In the Some People Say portion, the answer is a big no. God is not omnipresent. He is a person and He is residing in His dwelling place in heaven. Through his holy spirit, God can perceive and do anything, anywhere, at any time, without being present in person.
Yes, we have every reason to believe that Jehovah is the only true living God!
