This chapter will emphasize the greatness of our God Jehovah. He is the only true and living God. He is different from all worthless gods of this world.
Point 1 reminded us of the meaning of His name, "He Causes to Become!" This strengthens us that He will do anything, everything for the success of His plans.
Point 2 gives us reasons why Jehovah is the true God. He is the Sovereign and Almighty alone! Psalms 90:2 explained that He has no beginning and no end. The study note uses a good illustration for that. You can compare this idea when counting numbers ascending and descending from zero. It is infinite.
The picture teaches us that like the heavenly bodies, Jehovah has a name. Like the stars that can be seen, Jehovah God never hides from us. He is always there and ready to be known by all.
Point 3 video explained the difference between using a personal name and a title.
Point 4 helps us to understand why we need to use His holy name. We are all familiar with Romans 10:13. But when you look at the study note, calling Jehovah has a deeper meaning. It says three important things: knowing His name, trusting Him by putting His will first, and obeying Him.
Point 5 video is a touching story of Sister Soten. While watching it, my eyes become teary. Did you feel the same? Yes, Jehovah God wants us to be close to Him.
On "Some People Say" question, you can use 1 Corinthians 8: 5, 6 to defend this idea.
