This chapter will deepen our appreciation of God's word, the Bible. The opening illustration is an old scroll that was found many years ago. How will these archaeological findings add to our trust in the Bible?
Point 1 confirms that the Bible is a book of facts! As we look at the study note of Luke 1:3 there is the picture of Tiberius Caesar's relic. It proves that it is no fiction at all.
Point 4 video helps us to examine that the Bible and modern science agrees. The shape of the earth and water cycle proves that! We can add to this the discovery of people is late compared to early depiction in the Bible thousands of years ago.
Point 5 is about history. I suggest that you add to your study and research the details about Babylon in the Insight book. You will be more impressed when you look at the details of the double wall of Babylon. I thought before it is one solid wall but it is not. So make some research on your own.
At point 6, it is about the last days. The attitude of the people and the significant conditions of the world are happening. But we must guard ourselves not to be like them for Jehovah God detest those attitudes.
Some people say portion, we can answer by giving first the definition of the word myth. This will help your householder to see that the Bible is not a myth. Myth is baseless and does not mention exact details of a person's place and time. But the Bible does! You can also read Psalm 119:160, it is a book of truth.
Explore portion, there is one video about the prophecy discussing Alexander the Great. Let your Bible students watch it.
