JW Broadcasting - July 2018 Updates

UPDATE 07/02/2018: For this month's new original song (music video) lyrics and guitar chords, check these posts:

A few more days to go and we're going to change month already. And for our brothers and sisters, it's not just changing months, it means a new broadcast from JW Broadcasting is also coming. And all of us are excited for it, aren't we?

But before that, we received a good news today straight from South Korea. According to a breaking news at JW.org, "on June 28, 2018, for the first time in South Korea’s history, the Constitutional Court declared a section of Korea’s Military Service Act (MSA) unconstitutional, as it does not provide alternative service for conscientious objectors." Wow! And because of this ruling from the Constitutional Court, imprisoning conscientious objectors will come to an end.

Historic Korean Constitutional Court Decision: Punishing Conscientious Objectors Declared Unconstitutional

The report also said that this "decision now opens the door for the Supreme Court of Korea to apply this ruling to specific cases involving conscientious objectors. In addition, Korean lawmakers are now obligated to institute alternative service for conscientious objectors by December 31, 2019."

We really are very happy for our brothers in South Korea. Unjust imprisoning of conscientious objectors will be a thing of the past.

Now, for the July 2018 broadcast, what are we expecting? Well of course, we are expecting great and encouraging things! Last month, the 144th Gilead Graduation program replaced our regular broadcast. It was introduced by brother David Schafer, a helper to the Governing Body.

Who do you think will host the July 2018 program? And what will be the theme of the music video? Yes, all of these questions will be answered when the broadcast become available. Stay tuned!
