JW Annual Meeting 2016 "Actual" Updates

This is the part 2 of our article about the 2016 Annual Meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses. As you can remember, on our first article, we included some speculations from our excited brothers and sisters. The 2016 Annual Meeting was held on October 1. Below are some "actual" updates and new provisions:
  • 2017 Yeartext: "Trust in Jehovah and do what is good." - Psalm 37:3
  • New Songbook: "Sing Out Joyfully" To Jehovah (English will be available on JW.org/JW Library App/WOL.JW.org on October 3. Plus, there will be a lyric video for all 151 songs showing lyrics on-screen.) Changes includes rewording of lyrics, changing of subject, rephrasing, less direct counsel within the lyrics and numbering by subject matter in 15 categories. [Read article.]
    • Sing Out Joyfully" To Jehovah Cover
  • Annual Meeting will be held in Warwick next year on October 7, 2017. It will be the dedication of Warwick and Wallkill. The meeting will be streamed to Assembly Halls.
  • Two videos about the new world headquarters at Warwick (showing the history of Brooklyn Bethel to Warwick).

    there will be a lyric video for all 151 songs showing lyrics on-screen. Why 151 and not 154??

      3 songs are removed. 151 is the new total number of songs.

      Song 14, 16, and 51 have not been added to the new songbook. :)

    I read: .....a lyric video foto ALL 151 songs, that is one lyric video for each song.

    Songs 16, 25, and 51 are the correct song nos. that have been removed. We still have song 14
