JW Broadcasting - December 2019 Updates

Good day brothers and sisters from all around the earth! Welcome to the December 2019 update of the JW Broadcasting. We're very sorry for not posting an update of the month of November 2019. We were very busy that posting an article became impossible.

JW Broadcasting - December 2019 Updates

JW Broadcasting - December 2019 will be arriving very soon. And before talking about it, let's see what are the things that we might have missed from our official website.
  • For example, we heard a beautiful report that the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures was released in Maya. The release will benefit approximately 762,000 people who speak Maya in Mexico and the United States.
  • We also have a new Bible school facility which was dedicated in Eldoret, Kenya. "This 433-square-meter facility (4,660 sq ft) will host classes for the School for Kingdom Evangelizers (SKE) and the School for Circuit Overseers and Their Wives. At least four SKE classes are expected to graduate annually from the facility." according to our website.
  • The 2019 Service Year Report was also released and it's encouraging to know that we reach the largest baptismal figure in 20 years. Actually, more than 300,000 individuals were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses!
  • Aside from that, we also reached a new preaching milestone! Our JW.ORG website's content is now featured in 1,000 languages, including 100 sign languages. Yes, it the most widely translated website in the world and as you know, translation is done by well-trained volunteers from all over the earth.
  • Also last month, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Tomsk sentenced Brother Sergey Klimov to six years in prison.
  • On the other hand, after being prisoned for one month, our two sisters from Nepal—Tirtha Maya Ghale and Pushpa Ghimire, were conditionally released from prison. We are praying for a positive final ruling by the appeals court.
  • There are also reports of multiple earthquakes in the southern part of the Philippines. Four Kingdom Halls and 195 of our brothers’ homes were heavily damaged. Other sustained partial damage. Because of this, many of our brothers are living in tents.
  • Some parts of Japan were also devastated by natural calamities. This time, a typhoon. This typhoon caused rivers to overflow their banks, resulting in heavy regional flooding and damage to our brother's homes. Also in Rwanda, when a heavy rainstorm struck, a 13-year-old daughter of a Witness couple in the Musanze District of the Northern Province was swept away in the floodwaters and died. Also in Spain, two of our brothers who were crossing a bridge on the way home from a congregation meeting died when their car was suddenly swept away by the raging flood.
  • Violence also resulted in the death of our brother in Mexico. He was at work when a stray bullet struck him. Also, on a school shooting in California, the son of one of our sisters, was one of the students killed.
The last items are truly saddening to hear. We are always praying to Jehovah for comfort to all who need it the most. Now back to the topic. What do we expect from the JW Broadcasting - December 2019? To give you an insight, here are some images from the December 2019 broadcast:
