JW Broadcasting - September 2019 Updates

Good day brothers and sisters! Welcome to another update of JW Broadcasting. This time, it is for the September 2019 edition. But before talking about this, let's see first what we might have missed in the past weeks.

• Our branch in France also opened a new Bible museum last July 25, 2019. The museum has the theme “The Divine Name and the Bible in French.” Several rare Bibles in the French language can be seen in the exhibit.
• Not only in France, because our branch in Denmark also opened a Bible museum in the same month. The 1541 Gustav Vasa Bible and the 1550 Christian III Bible are just two of the many interesting Bibles a visitor can see on the location.
• We heard about the historic Regional Convention in Azerbaijan. It was historic because it was the largest public convention ever held in teh country and the first time Azerbaijani and Russian congregations from the entire country attended a convention at the same time. 1,938 attended the convention and a total of 33 were baptized.
• We are also happy to hear that our brothers hosted the first Romany-language regional convention in Slovakia, from July 20 to 21, 2019, at the Winter Stadium in Michalovce. The abbreviated program had a peak attendance of 1,276. A total of 19 were baptized.
• We also learned about brother Dennis Christensen steadfastness even after his transfer to a penal colony. His faithfulness to Jehovah is an encouragement for all of us.
• There is also a video of brother Dmitriy Mikhaylov on how he recalls the unlawful arrest and detention last May 2018.
• We also got the report that the local police and Federal Security Service (FSB) agents in Russia have already raided more than 600 homes of our brothers and sisters. There are now 244 brothers and sisters facing criminal charges in Russia and Crimea.
