Additional Comments, Research and Points on Enjoy Life Forever! (lff) Section 1 Lesson 1

We are all excited about our new book "Enjoy Life Forever!" This week we will start using this for our Congregation Book Study. This tool will help us renew our faith as long-time witnesses and to those who are just starting to study the Bible.

Enjoy Life Forever! (lff) book

I decided to share some points that I've learned and researched. You can share yours too.
So let us begin with Section 1 Lesson 1. This section will enable us to study carefully the Bible. We will consider how will it help us and how we will be closer to its Author, Jehovah!

The illustration at the beginning of the lesson is an opened Bible on top of a table. This denotes that it is being read and not just a house display. This helps us to get started with what Jehovah wants to say to all of us, READ THE BIBLE DAILY!

The next illustration on point 3 is a man walking on the riverside while it is dark. He is holding a flashlight. Then Psalm 119:105 emphasized the importance of a lamp. As witnesses, we already know the lamp! But the important question is, are we using that lamp or that flashlight in our lives or do we let our lives be dark and clouded?

On point 4, there's the first video. Experience of Sister Doris Eldred. The video teaches us not to give up on looking for answers to our queries. Humility is needed. She did not look down on the young witness who helped her study the Bible. Jehovah helped her to find the truth after many years.

In point 5, the video is about how young people feel when reading the Bible. They get bored, they don't want to read and feel lazy about it. But proper view of the Bible and proper reason on why would you read the Bible enable young ones to read it.

The last illustration on point 6 teaches us that we all need help. Like the Eunuch, we must be always humble and willing to be helped especially by God's holy spirit.

In the last part, Some People Say, studying the Bible is not a waste of time! We can compare the time we use in studying the Bible with the time we spent cooking or sleeping. We need it to stay alive. We can also add 1 Timothy 4:8 as a reference to that.

Hope these points help you.
