JW Broadcasting - January 2018 Updates

While the world is celebrating their festivities, we on the other hand are excited about the upcoming JW Broadcasting for the coming year - January 2018. But first, let's have a recap of what happened last month.

• First of all, we didn't receive a music video (original song) last month. The broadcast featured the 143rd Gilead Graduation. [Watch the whole program at tv.jw.org.] We are hoping for a music video on January 2018.
• Caleb's video about being humble was released on JW.org. [Watch the video.] The said video was first shown on our past Regional Convention.
• A new whiteboard animation video entitled "Think Past the Drink" was released to protect yourself from the trouble and danger of alcohol abuse. [Watch the video at JW.org.]
• The 2017 Service Year Report of Jehovah’s Witnesses Worldwide was released at JW.org. We can remember that no more yearbooks will be printed. All statistics will be released using the official website.
• In Russia, "On December 14, 2017, Russian authorities broke into the Kolomyazhskiy Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in St. Petersburg, cordoned off the building, and took control of the property", according to our newsroom. [Read the full story at JW.org.]

Now for the JW Broadcasting - January 2018, the host will be brother Kenneth Flodin, a helper to the Governing Body. As Mark Noumair explained last month, the governing body has approved the Annual Meeting to be broadcast each year as a monthly JW Broadcasting program. As a result, more translation team around the world will have the resources to make this program available to viewers in many more languages. Yes, the broadcast for January 2018 is the 2017 Annual Meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses (actually held on October 7, 2017). It features the dedication of some buildings including the new world headquarters in Warwick, New York.

A Place That Will Bring You Praise—Chorus
