147 - A Special Possession & 149 - Grateful for the Ransom, Sing to Jehovah New Songs?

While checking other JW updates sites, I notice that someone posted that on our Memorial of Christ's Death 2016, two (Sing to Jehovah) new songs will be sung. Those are Song 147 - A Special Possession and Song 149 - Grateful for the Ransom.

As of writing, those two songs are not yet on JW.org site. And if this is true, we are going to see these new songs on early 2016. They will made it available as early as possible so everyone can have time to be familiar with it. With regard to this new songs, someone maybe just got the Memorial talk outline where the song numbers and titles are written. We don't know.

JW Broadcasting December 2015 Summary

This month, Mark Noumair served as the host for the whole broadcast. As announced last month’s broadcast, governing body helpers will be assigned to do the hosting alternately with the members of the governing body.

Mark Noumair introduced some details and showed a video regarding the improvements happening at the Democratic Republic of Congo. It highlighted the efforts made to establish a building that will be used as a school for the School of Kingdom Evangelizer students. There are interviews of the Branch Committee, SKE Instructor and Students and other JW about the blessings of the school. Gerrit Losch of the governing body dedicated the complex and provided some encouraging talks for the 1st and 2nd SKE classes.

After that, Mark Noumair started to talk about how we can show our appreciation for the spiritual food we are receiving. He shared five ways to help us get the most of our study. One, accept God’s word; two, treasure up Jehovah’s sayings; three, making our ear attentive; four, incline our heart towards discernment and; five, keep seeking by digging deeper for more details.

Sometimes, we need to answer several deep questions we face on different situations. The video that followed showed how we can make use of our excellent research tools. It showed the Watchtower Library for PC, Watchtower Online Library and the JW Library app for smartphones.

It was followed by a video of brother David Splane taken from the Bethel morning worship. He shared some lesson that we can learn and apply from the study of the lives of Isaac and his wife Rebekah.

The next part is the experience of a brother from Ghana which showed how he took stand against superstitions and different false beliefs connected to his former religion; and pursued his life towards the truth.

The next video is about why do some brothers capable of reaching out hold back from it. It features a brother who wants to improve himself spiritually but is very much inclined in having a good shape physically. His friend who is spiritually mature and was recently appointed as an MS inspired this brother to examine himself. And other brothers from the congregation helped him on that matter.

The last experience was from sister Hernandez of Panama. She is a very zealous sister who is handicapped. She can’t use her feet and hand normally. She uses her tongue to open the scriptures and her mouth to type on the computer. She is active in letter/phone witnessing and sometimes apply as an auxiliary pioneer.

Then, the music video entitled “Joy of Conventions” is played showing some scenes from the 2014 International Convention.

It was announced that some of the videos played at the convention are now available for download. The final part was a visit to Madagascar, a country with some 30,000 publishers. You can see the efforts exerted by our brothers and sisters just to attend our meetings. They are sending their Christian love and greetings to all of us.

Joy of Conventions Piano Notes, Guitar Chords or Sheet Music

This December 2015, we really are surprised with the beautiful music presented at the near end of the JW Broadcasting program. Brother Mark Noumair introduced the song Joy of Conventions. The music video shows different scenes and footage of the past 2014 International Convention which is held at different locations worldwide.

Just like what we did for the past JW Broadcasting songs, we are compiling videos of this song created by our talented brothers and sisters from all around the world. Upon hearing this song, most of us will be needing the piano notes, guitar chords or any other sheet music for this. We want to play it using the instrument we have at home. But wait, yes, let's wait until someone upload it on the world wide web. We will compile them here! Stay tuned.

This song is about the witnesses shining like a light in a world full of darkness. We give hope and encouragement to everyone. Jehovah Welcomes You Home Lyric Video (with Japanese Translation)

A brother from Japan (I believe) with the YouTube username Neko San has been making beautiful lyric videos (music videos with readable lyrics) for quite some time now. This one is from the November 2015 broadcast of JW Broadcasting. The theme is to return to Jehovah because it's not yet late for everyone to do so. The cute thing is, it has Japanese translation! JW Broadcasting - December 2015

The December broadcast from the JW Broadcasting is just around the corner. A few more hours and it will be available to all JW Broadcasting subscribers worldwide. So what are we to expect on this month’s broadcast?

To know that, actual watching of the program is needed. Hehe. The theme of the talk, the experiences, events, interviews will be a surprise to everyone (except for those who are working for the JW Broadcasting program). I know most of you (including us) are excited about the song/music video for this month.

As announced last November broadcast, starting this month – December 2015, the JW Broadcasting will be hosted by the governing body and the helper to them, alternately each month. Let’s just wait.

WatchtowerBrooklynRealEstate.com | New Website from JW.org

Recently, there’s a new website with the name Watchtower Brooklyn Real Estate (registered on WatchtowerBrooklynRealEstate.com). Although bearing the name of the Watchtower Bible And Tract Society Of New York, Inc. and JW.org, this website is not designed to provide spiritual food or publications.


It contains some details regarding the organization’s property located at Brooklyn, New York - 85 Jay Street for example. It has a photo gallery and a 360-degree panoramic view of the property. It also has its dedicated web page. (You can see it at 85jaystreet.com.)

It also provides information about the amenities, neighborhoods and transit.

As we can see, the main objective of this pages is to speed up the selling of the Watchtower properties at New York, then they can transfer to the new headquarters at Warwick.

Video Showings and Electronic Placements on Revised Field Service Reports

A letter (dated October 2015) is now posted on our Kingdom Hall discussing some more changes on the way we will record our monthly field service report. The effectivity of the reports arrangement will be on January 2016.

It is stated there that all placements (can be printed or electronic) will be reported in one category which is named as “Placements”. And if you are wondering what are those “electronic placements”, it includes video files, books, magazines (or even articles) you copied and sent to anyone you are witnessing. “Electronic placements” also include even links to our JW.org website!

Another category is the “Video Showings”. You count the number of times you showed our videos to someone you’re witnessing and then fill that number on this category. Amazing!

On the other hand, hours, return visits and Bible studies will stay the same. Well, we really look forward to this! Agape.
